Terms of Service

Effective date: 8 November 2026

These terms apply to the Game Hub app for Android (package mobi.infolife.gamebooster, previously called Game Booster & Launcher, "the app"). It is part of InfoLife and run by Pii Mobile Limited ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. How can you use the app?

We give you a personal, non-exclusive permission (a licence) to use the app on Android devices that you own or control, for your own personal and non-commercial use. You cannot transfer this permission to anyone else, and we can cancel it as explained in these terms. Unless the law allows it, you must not copy, change, share, sell, reverse engineer, or take apart (decompile) the app. You also must not use the app in any way that breaks the law or Google Play's terms.

2. What does the app do?

Game Hub lists the games on your phone in one place and opens a game when you tap it. It looks at the apps on your phone that have a launcher icon and picks the ones that declare themselves as games. You can also add or remove apps yourself. Before you play, the app shows a short check of your phone, including whether the phone is limiting speed because it is hot, battery temperature and level, and free storage. It can also open your phone maker's own game app, and turn Do Not Disturb on and off when you tap its switch, if you allow Do Not Disturb access in Android settings. If you allow Usage Access in Android settings, it shows how long you played each game in the last 7 days. You can turn Usage Access off at any time in Android settings. Game Hub does not change your games and does not close other apps. The only system setting it can change is Do Not Disturb, and only when you tap its switch. The games on your phone and your phone's settings belong to their respective makers, and their own terms apply.

3. Why are there ads in the app?

The app is free to use and may show ads from advertising partners (third parties). Where the law requires it (such as in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland), we ask for your consent for ads, and you can change your choice in the app. We are not responsible for what is in the ads or for any products or services they offer. Please read our Privacy Policy to see how advertising partners and our analytics, crash reporting, and configuration providers (which include Google) handle data.

4. How is your privacy handled?

You do not need an account to use the app. The list of your apps, which apps you marked as games, your playtime, and the phone readings are processed only on your phone. They are never uploaded, sold, or shared. Our Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles. It is part of these terms.

5. Will the app change or update?

We may update, change, or stop offering the app or any of its features at any time. You may need to install updates to keep using the app.

6. Who owns the app?

The app, along with its name, logo, and content, belongs to us or our licensors. The games and apps on your phone belong to their respective owners. Third-party open source parts are used under their own licence agreements.

7. Are there any guarantees or warranties?

We provide the app "as is" and "as available". We make no promises or warranties of any kind, whether stated directly (express) or implied, including warranties that the app is fit for a particular purpose or does not infringe anyone else's rights. We do not promise that the app will be free of errors, that every game on your phone will be picked automatically, that phone readings or playtime will always be exact, or that your phone maker's game settings will be available on every phone.

8. What is our responsibility if something goes wrong?

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible (liable) for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. We are also not responsible for any lost data, lost profits, or loss of use that comes from using the app, from the games you open through the app, or from any changes you make in your phone's settings. However, nothing in these terms limits any legal responsibility that cannot be limited under the law, or takes away your legal (statutory) rights as a consumer.

9. How can these terms end?

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your permission (licence) to use the app if you break these terms.

10. Which country's laws apply?

New Zealand laws govern these terms. However, this does not take away any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

11. What happens if we change these terms?

We may change these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the latest version started. If you keep using the app after we make a change, it means you accept the new terms.
